Challenges Faced in Vehicle Maintenance
Lack of staff
With the rapid development of automobile production, there is a severe shortage of personnel responsible for equipment management and maintenance. Their tasks are no longer limited to simple production control or repairs; instead, they use information technology to implement comprehensive, dynamic information management throughout the entire “equipment lifecycle”.
Insufficient professional technical capabilities
Whether it’s 4S stores or car repair shops, there’s a lack of expertise in information technology. There’s no unified information management system for related technologies. The technology used generally only performs basic functions, failing to meet the full range of requirements for equipment maintenance.
The system is imperfect.
During the maintenance process, it’s impossible to fully manage the training of maintenance personnel. The lack of information symmetry leads to an imperfect system. The operating system is outdated and cannot be updated in a timely manner. As a result, it cannot seamlessly integrate with the latest system platforms, both online and offline.
Instant messaging systems are inconvenient.
Unable to free both hands, making it difficult to use during repairs. Cannot use first-person perspective. There’s a lack of synchronization between the backend and frontend, and no flexible means of command. Unable to fully document the entire process.
